Accademia Italiana (Thailand): Annual Fashion Show & Design Exhibition Success

Accademia Italiana (Thailand) hosted their annual Fashion Show & Design Exhibition on Saturday 7th May 2016. The event, which showcased the work of their highly talented students, was the result of many months of hard work. The AI Fashion Department pulled out all the stops to hold this highly professional showcase of their students’ diverse creativity. This year’s fashion show, which featured a range of work from both the Diploma and Bachelor programmes, proved to be as dazzling as ever. The students wowed the audience with their inspirational designs in a range of media including silk, knit and printed fabrics.

The final year students from the Bachelor Programme of Fashion Design also had the opportunity to design outfits for four top Thai celebrities; leading actress “Ann Mitchai”, leading actor “Great-Warintorn Panhakarn”, film director “Jah-Yossinee Nanakorn” and Businessperson/Celebrity “Pop-Varavut Laohapongchana” all participated in modelling Accademia Italiana’s fashion students’ unique creations as part of the Dress the Stars Season 2 project.

The design exhibition was a visual display of the innovative and highly creative work of students from the Interior Design, Product Design and Graphic Design courses at Accademia Italiana (Thailand) Fashion & Design Institute.

Lightsculptures, who were one of the sponsors of this year’s event, had the unenviable task of selecting the winners from all of the exceptional artwork created by AI interior and product design students over the past academic year.

The 2016 student winners are:
Technical Feasibility Award: Ms. Simona Abruzzini
Creativity Award: Ms. Anna Wilhelm
Innovation Award: Ms. Raffaela Dirisamer
