AI fashion students create high fashion for hotel uniforms

137 Pillars Hotels & Resorts have selected AI fashion students to design their staff uniforms.

The luxury boutique brand are expanding on their elegant and highly successful 137 Pillars House hotel in Chiang Mai, with the debut of the 137 Pillars Suites here in Bangkok.

Fashion students at Accademia Italiana (Thailand) Fashion & Design Institute were approached by Christopher Stafford, Chief Operating Officer at 137 Pillars Hotels & Resorts, to help design uniforms for all 200 staff at the new hotel. This exciting opportunity will require the students to engage with the hospitality community and undertake intensive research before designing and creating finished garments that are contemporary yet rooted in the proud history of the brand.

The winning designs will be chosen on the basis of the following criteria: design, aesthetics, functionality and creativity. The students with the winning designs will receive prizes from 137 Pillars Hotels & Resorts and will have their designs produced for all staff members at the hotel.
