Milan is the New Stage for the students of the Accademia Italiana
At the fair and at the Fuori Salone, Milan is the new stage for the students of the Accademia Italiana. The occasion is offered first by the Salone Satellite that gives to the Florentine school of Interior and Product Design a special place, a stand dedicated to the talented young students to show off their designs and prototypes. And as a side addition to show off the creativity is the Fuori Salone where the company Jannelli&Volpi, leader in the field of wallpaper production has involved the students in an exhibition project focalized on design, art and architecture.
From April 9 to 14, in the space in via Melzo 7, location chosen by the Milan company for the Fuori Salone, ten students form the Accademia Italiana will show their designs for wall paper and textiles for furnishings, inspired by 4 different themes: Nature fantasy, Ironic pop, Style romantic, Future technology.
The idea comes from a collaboration created by the school with the Jannelli&Volpi company which was further defined in a recent visit to Florence by the architect Paola Jannelli when she met with the students of the courses of Design and Graphic design, illustrating the history and philosophy of the company that boasts an excellent production curriculum working with important names in design such as Ettore Sottsass.
After the “minimal” experience in the field of wall coverings there is today new interest in the market, and not only on an international level, representing a new opportunity for integration into the working world for the graduates of the Accademia Italiana. The exhibition will be inaugurated with a cocktail on April 9 at h. 18,20.
